Relations Lenny Reyes was born in Puerto
Rico and came to the United States when he was just a child. He attended
High School and College in New York City. He retired from the United
States Navy as a Lieutenant Commander and obtained a Masters Degree in Public
Administration from Golden Gate University. He is now a Sergeant with the
Virginia Beach Police Department. He is the founder and former
president of the Hampton Roads National Latino Peace Officers Association (NLPOA).
He is currently the NLPOA Virginia State President. He is a past board
member of the Virginia Governor’s Latino Advisory Board and is a very strong
advocate for the rights of minorities.
